Connecting People.
Cultivating Faith.

At Brighthouse, we believe life is better when we're surrounded by people who encourage, support, and challenge us to grow in our relationship with Christ.

God wants everyone to experience abundant life here on earth, and He’s designed us to find freedom and healing through relationships with others. Discover how Community Groups can transform your life—and find out how you can get involved!

Group
FAQs

  • A Community Group is an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching.

Community Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life with a community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Community Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

  • Community Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly throughout the year in three semesters. New groups start every semester, making it easy to build community and enjoy different types of groups.

    Winter/Spring Semester - 13 Weeks
    Summer Semester - 6 Weeks
    Fall Semester - 13 Weeks

  • We have groups of all different sizes, but our Community Groups typically range from 8 to 15 people. This size allows everyone to feel heard and connected while building lasting friendships.

  • Anyone can lead a community group—you don’t need to have everything figured out! What matters most is your willingness to allow God to work through you. If it’s your first time leading a group at Brighthouse Church, we ask that you attend a Community Group first to get a feel for the experience. And if you're feeling nervous about leading, you can always co-lead with someone else to ease into the role. We also offer Community Group training to support you along the way. We believe Community Groups are a powerful way God transforms lives, and as a leader, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to be part of that process.

  • We offer Community Group Leader Training throughout the year, just before each new semester begins. The dates and details for upcoming training sessions will be announced during our church worship gatherings and on our social media platforms, so be sure to stay tuned for updates! We’re excited to equip and empower new leaders for the season ahead.
