Pastor Derek and Nikki Dale are the founding and senior pastors of Brighthouse Church. Together, they bring a shared passion for the local church and a heart for reaching those who feel overlooked, discouraged, or in need of encouragement. Whether it’s the underdog, the church planter, the one with church hurt, or the everyday person persevering through life, Derek and Nikki are committed to building a community where everyone can find hope and belonging. After years of infertility, Derek and Nikki were blessed with the miracle of their son, Silas, who has inherited their passion for people and their desire to make a difference in the world.

Both Derek and Nikki bring unique gifts to their ministry. Derek, a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, TN, has a heart for people that draws them in with authenticity and compassion. His faithfulness and encouragement inspire everyone he meets. Nikki, a graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, is a phenomenal teacher and preacher. She is passionate about equipping others with the tools to deepen their faith and live out their calling. Together, they have led a wide variety of ministries, including serving as student pastors, where they mentored and ministered to hundreds of students each month, and as leaders at Daystar College, where they equipped students for ministry across the United States.

With a heart for building authentic connections, the Dales are excited to see how God will continue to move and work through Brighthouse Church, impacting lives and fostering a community of love and hope.
